What’s up readers? Just wanted to update you on how God has been moving through this ministry. Last night at Fuse*, which is New Spring’s youth ministry, God moved in mighty ways. He really pressed down on me through the worship and the teaching then challenged me in mighty ways. Let me just say thank you to all the staff and volunteers that make it happen each week YOU ARE AWESOME! You are all not only making a difference in youth’s lives but also leaders lives. Now back to my story. We had small group after the worship service and it was great, but something happened at the end of small group as one of our leaders Craig Walker was praying. He was praying about the gauntlet and he said, “God its not if you are going to save people, it’s how many?” That prayer just rocked me to the core. God told me, “Tonight when all the kids get on the bus you are going to share my son and his love with them and I’m going to save souls.” I must say it was overwhelming at first because getting 27 students to be quiet on a bus is hard to do. But shortly after he told me that, it was time! I shared Jesus with those kids and told them about my past and what God has done for me! I told them God loves them no matter what but they need to turn their lives over to him and he is the only way to go John 14:6. I told them it’s not a prayer that saves you, its acknowledging Jesus as lord and truly accepting his gift in your heart and living for him that saves you. Folks I have never heard a bus of normally hyper kids be so quiet! Then God did as promised, he moved through that bus and saved lives. We took 7 kids and led them in a prayer to recieve Jesus. It was overwhelming, to say the least. My spirit was going crazy and my heart was rejoicing as I prayed with them. Hearing them say to Jesus, “Come into my life and take control,” moved me beyond words. Hearing them say, “I confess my sins to you and I need your forgiveness,” brought me to tears. You see that’s why we do what we do, to see LIVES CHANGE. Since then, we have followed up with them and will continue to disciple these students. All I have left to tell yall is that we at The L.O.T. Project are blown away at what God has been doing through this ministry. I ask you all to continue to pray for us as we share Christ with anyone and everyone. We are begging God for more of him and less of ourselves. It’s our prayer to reach our surrounding communities for Jesus and HE CAN DO IT! I Love you all and a special thank you to our bus leaders, you make it happen every week. We are so thankful for everyone's prayers and contribution. Know that God is using all of them to glorify HIS name.
Love you all,
Jason
